[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly],… (Philippians 3:10 AMP)
Paul had one priority and only one. That priority was to progressively become acquainted with our Savior…the Savior who said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you.” He ran a jail break for Paul. He told Paul when he would be bound and Paul followed Him and was captured for permanent. When Jesus goes with us through thick and thin it melds us into His heart and we long for more.
Jesus has wonders within Him and surrounding us that are small and large. Wonders like a sunset, a five foot iguana, a warm beach. Or maybe a family, salvation and the mercy that comes with it, the hope heaven brings.
